Greencrest Manor Wedding Venue Battle Creek Michigan

Today’s blog post is a little different as I’m featuring one of my favorite wedding venues in Michigan: Greencrest Manor. This is a unique wedding venue located in the country sides of Battle Creek, Michigan. The venue features a 17th style European mansion surrounded by beautiful greenery throughout the property.

As you approach the front gates, you will feel as if you’ve been transported to another another period in time and somewhere far away in the south of France. There’s definitely the feeling of grandness as you enter the front doors greeted by the main staircase and chandelier in the foyer. The interior is tastefully decorated with antique furniture and gives off the vibe of a French chateau. I especially love the formal living room with the high ceiling and patterned draperies from top to bottom.

Behind the mansion lies the perfect backdrop for a wedding ceremony as guests gets the perfect view of the mansion. There is a formal garden that guests can also stroll through (which also serves as the perfect backdrop for formal portraits).

Greencrest Manor would be the perfect wedding venue if you’re looking for:

a unique wedding venue in Michigan
a European style setting
an intimate wedding with just your closest friends and family
a venue where your families and the full bridal party can get ready at all in the same place (i.e. Greencrest also serves as a bed and breakfast where you can stay the night before and after)
an outdoor ceremony
an outdoor reception (which will be under large white tent)

As a wedding photographer, I get to visit many wedding venues in Michigan and I have to say, Greencrest Manor is definitely one of my favorites for all of the charming features mentioned above.
