Italy destination wedding photographer

One of the reasons why I love being a photographer is having the ability to share how I see the world through the lens of my camera. You and I could be standing at the same exact spot looking out at the same exact scene but I promise, we’ll walk away from it seeing and remembering totally different things. Of course, a big part of how we see the world is driven by our past experiences, current state of emotion and future outlook in life. With my camera, I’m able to capture a specific moment in time and be able to bring back those memories just by looking at the images years from now.

As I sorted through all the digital files on my hard drive, I realized there were many travel photographs that I took that have not been shared nor published anywhere. Today, I’m going to share some images from my trip to Italy where I visited Rome, Florence and Venice. Of the three locations, Venice was definitely my favorite. The city felt so romantic and so different from all the places that I’ve ever visited. Perhaps it was the feeling of being isolated from the rest of the world with the island being surrounded by water… or getting lost in the narrow alleyways with no concerns… or the perception that life in Venice just felt a bit more authentic and less commercialized than that of Rome and Florence. Whatever it was, I was quite excited to wake up extra early each morning to explore the city on my own before the city got to crowded. It felt nice to not have any agenda and really just sit and observe how the locals went about starting their day.

I plan to visit Italy again soon and have always dreamed of photographing a destination wedding in Italy. Italy would be the perfect location for a destination wedding surrounded by its rich culture, food and beauty.
