Follow along as I document real love stories and share a glimpse of how I see the world through the lens of my camera.
Jessica and Nick’s wedding took place at a private lake front property in Fennville, Michigan. This wedding was photographed by my associate photographer, Jessica who did a fabulous job at capturing all of details and emotions throughout the wedding day. If it’s anyone that I trust to capture a wedding day the way I would, it would definitely be Jessica. She’s been part of the DreamBox team now for almost three years and I’m so grateful to have her as part of my team!
The day started with capturing Jessica’s bridal details, including her rings, invitation suite, wedding shoes, bouquets and dress. The wedding colors that Jessica and Nick chose were navy and burgundy which was perfect for their fall wedding.
Over the years (especially during COVID pandemic) I’ve learned not to underestimate the elegance that backyard weddings can turn out to be and this wedding was no exception! No details were left untouched, from the chiavari chairs to the elegant place settings, the overall wedding decor came together elegantly. The desert table was also filled with a variety of delicious options for guests to choose from!
Jessica and Nick’s first look. I’m always a big fan of first looks because we get to capture the groom’s reaction more authentically away from the crowd and the couple gets a few minutes to themselves. Doing a first look also allows us to have more time for formal portraits so that there’s no rush in between the ceremony and reception.

Jessica and her beautiful bridesmaids. I loved that the color combination here where dress is different and unique but still within the same color family.

The circular arch was such a perfect backdrop for the ceremony space!
