Follow along as I document real love stories and share a glimpse of how I see the world through the lens of my camera.
Meet Allison and Dave: two of the most sweetest people I’ve met. They had a traditional wedding with their ceremony held at the Light of Christ Blissfield Church in Blissfield, Michigan and their reception at the Lenawee County Fairgrounds in Adrian, Michigan. Allison and Dave chose not to do a first look but wanted to read letter to eachother by the church entrance.
Before the ceremony, we were able to get some formal portraits of the bridal party seperately. I loved the pink bridesmaids dresses and the pink tie on the groomsmen.
I love how simple the bouquets were and thought the white flowers complemented the pink dresses nicely.
I love the trailing of Allison’s wedding dress:

After the ceremony, all the guests lined out by the front entrance and blew bubbles as Allison and Dave walked out. I love doing grand exit photos – especially when it involves blowing bubbles or throwing petals. It’s oh-so-festive having the guests in the background like this:
We then headed to Dave’s family farm who owns Gust Brothers Pumpkin Farm in Ottawa Lake, Michigan. It was such a charming property with the big red barn, white picked fence, rolling fields with the large haystacks and the giant tractors.
Doing some fun shots with the guys:
It was quite windy but we managed to get some good shots.
After the bridal portraits, we headed over to the banquet hall. I loved how the entrance was decorated with charming props.
I love the idea of picking wild flowers and setting them on the table.
