Follow along as I document real love stories and share a glimpse of how I see the world through the lens of my camera.
I had the honor of photographing Tiffany and Conor’s wedding last weekend at the Our Lady Seat of Wisdom Chapel on the Aquinas College campus. It was such a beautiful and intimate wedding and the weather couldn’t have turned out any better!
Tiffany and Conor are two of the most geniune and kind couples I’ve ever met. Conor’s big smiles just lights up the entire room and Tiffany just has this very calm persona that made you feel everything is going to be okay. They’re really two of the sweetest couples I’ve photographed so far.
They both had written letters to eachother and read it before the ceremony (you guys already know how much I still believe in writing love letters!).

Their color theme was lavender, white and grey. Tiffany mentioned that she had seen the macaroon ring case that I posted on my instagram and went and got one to hold her rings which I thought was a fabulous idea!

Tiffany’s bouquet was made by Eastern Floral and it was a combination of white roses and real lavendar pieces.

When I saw the bridesmaids dresses, I had to pause for a minute to admire how beautiful the dresses were. These were not your typical long flowy bridesmaids dress! These had beautiful beading in the shape of lavender florals and the girls definitely rocked them.

Conor and the groomsmen wore heather grey suits with a lavender tie and I thought they also looked quite sharp in them.

For the bridesmaids’ bouquet, Tiffany said she had cut the lavender flowers last summer and dried them over the year. They smelled so good and I thought that was such a unique idea.

We had exactly one hour to do formal portraits after the ceremony and before the reception so we took photos right outside of the church which I actually thought turned out well given the shad and the open space area that we had all to ourselves.

The reception took place at the Ballroom at McKay in downtown Grand Rapids. This is definitely one elegant ballroom with the crystal chandeliers and overall decor.

Maid of honor and best man speech:

Father/daughter and mother/son dance:

If you’re looking for a live band, I definitely recommend Parallel Fifth! They had so much energy and just lit up the room with great music! I was so impressed with the entire band and how they performed throughout the evening.

I wide show of the ballroom with the hanging chandelier:
