Meet Libbie & Kyle:  they are two of the sweetest and most joyful people I have ever met.  Both of them are genuiely kindhearted and you can just see that they adored each other through their interactions.  I love that Kyle is so playful as it made my job easier as I was taking candid shots of the two of them throughout the day.

I was quite estatic when Libbie told me her wedding was going to be held at the beautiful Basilica of St. Adalbert church in Grand Rapids, Michigan.  I had previously seen pictures of the church on instagram and I had always wanted to photograph a wedding there.  The grandness and details inside the building is just impeccable not to mention the all-white walls (which a photographer’s dream!).  Outside of the church, there was a gated garden with interesting archways that led to a hidden garden.  This was the perfect venue because we were able to get photos taken immediately after the ceremony and it was all in one location!

 

I love doing grand exits with all the guests involved!  For Libbie and Kyle’s exit, they chose bubbles and it turned out beautifully!

If you think Libbie’s maid of honor looks just like her, it’s because she is Libbie’s twin sister!  I actually met Libbie through her sister but didn’t realize they were twins until I took this photo and said they could pass as twins.  That’s when Libbie said that they were twins!

You all know I love creating dreamy, whimsical and fairy tale photos and this structured archways definitely helped us achieve that.

Little did I know that Kyle and Libbie were the king and queen of dance!  We were just doing this shot for fun but later during the reception, the two of them put on a fantastic show during their first dance.

I had such a great time spending the day with Libbie, Kyle, the bridal party and their families and would do it all over again if I could!
