I initially started DreamBox Photography to capture family and children but along the way, I fell in love with weddings and have gotten away from doing family pictures due to time constraints. L&B were past clients of mine and they wanted to do a lifestyle session + their son’s one year old cake smash. Since Michigan’s weather hasn’t been cooperating, it was too cold to do outdoor photos so I invited them into my home. I turned my living room into a studio for the day and we had such a great time capturing their family’s memories.
My favorite type of photos are the candid ones where everyone is just themselves. It didn’t take too long for this young lad to warm up to me. For some reason, children are just naturally drawn to me when they first meet me…
Cake smash time!!! Carter was a bit hesitant at first but after tasting the some frosting, he eventually dug into the cake.
