Follow along as I document real love stories and share a glimpse of how I see the world through the lens of my camera.
Kasey and Jared tied the knot at Shepherd’s Hollow Golf Club, one of the most elegant wedding venues in Michigan. The ceremony took place outside of their new glass house and we were surrounded by these beautiful tall pine trees and view of the golf course. Although we were threatened by rain all day, we lucked out and was able to get through the ceremony and formal portraits with very little rain!
As you know, one of my favorite things to photograph is bridal details and I especially love it when my brides have all of their details organized and ready to photograph! Kasey’s wedding colors were cream, blush and navy and the color palette combined was just perfect.
Kasey’s mermaid-style wedding dress fit her like a glove:
The new glasshouse at Shepherd’s Hollow Golf Club also had a bridal suite that the ladies got ready in and right outside of the suite was the most gorgeous window with soft light that we took advantage of:
One of the wedding trends that I’ve been seeing more and more often is neutral-colored bridesmaids dress (in cream/nude/tan) and I think it’s absolutely timeless and elegant!
Not to out-beat the ladies but Jared and his groomsmen also showed up very GQ-ish as well with their tailored navy blue suits:
During the ceremony, the bridal party walked down the main stairwells with this beautiful backdrop view:

This is probably my favorite shot from the entire wedding as it captures the ceremony taking place. It definitely makes me smile to see people get together again after more than a year long of weddings getting cancelled and rescheduled due to COVID. It felt so nice just seeing guests hug each other and mingling away.
