Follow along as I document real love stories and share a glimpse of how I see the world through the lens of my camera.
I met up with Danielle and Brent at Broadview Christmas Tree Farm in Highland, Michigan and we did their engagement photos in the midst of the pine trees. They wanted their engagement photos to reflect the winter season given that their wedding will be held next winter. We were a bit bummed that there were no snow the day of the photo shoot but we still had a blast – especially because they brought along their dog, Charlie, who was as excited as I was to be there.
Also – don’t be fooled by the pictures: it was EXTREMELY cold that day but Danielle and Brent managed to pull it off with their intimate poses.
I loved that Danielle wore a red skirt because the color really popped amongst the green pine trees.
I love it when clients bring props for their session – it just makes it more personal and meaningful.
Charlie (the dog) was so excited but he did so good during the entire session:

I can’t wait for their wedding because it will be held at the Lafayette Grande which I absolutely love! (see the wedding the that I photographed there earlier this year).
