Dreaming of Provence… the smell of fresh lavender, the sight of endless purple flowers and that nostalgic feeling of being out in the French countryside… I dream of being in such a place, especially during these unsettled times.

The last couple of months have been a whirlwind of events that have created uncertainty around the world… who would have the thought the entire world could come to a pause? Definitely not me! For those who know me, I typically operate at a million miles per hour and the last few months have really forced me to slow down. With most of my 2020 weddings getting rescheduled, this is the first summer in three years that I actually have the weekends off and I have to admit – it has been really nice having the weekends to myself. I’ve used this time to relax and create images that I’ve been wanting to capture.

For this photo shoot, I was inspired by the lavender fields in Provence and wanted to create something whimsical and fun. I hope you enjoy the photos and that it’ll bring some inspiration and positivity to your day!
