Lake Michigan Wedding Venues

She had a list of shots we wanted and included those as well. She was also very flexible when the weather went awry, and also when family members requested extra portraits. Shadowland on Silver Beach in St. Joseph, Michigan is probably one of my favorite wedding venues in Michigan to photograph because of the many options that was available for us to do formal portraits. From the beautiful Lake Michigan beach to the whimsical carousel next to the reception hall, we took advantage of it all.

The beach was just walking distance from the wedding reception so we were able to take photos nearby. In the evening, guests were able to take a break from dancing and stroll over to the beach area as well.

When Bethlyn and David told me they were going to have a fairy tale wedding theme, I knew we were a perfect match for each other! They incorporated all the fairy tale love stores into their wedding (think Cinderella, Beauty and the Beast and Rapunzel) and their reception was beautifully decorated with these fairy tale themes.
