Erica & Garrett
Since Christmas is right around the corner, I thought it was about time I blog this beautiful wedding which took place at the Broadview Christmas Tree Farm in Highland, Michigan. This is such a unique wedding venue in Michigan. The property is filled with pine trees throughout and a has two options for the wedding ceremony (one down by the pond and the other overlooking the property). Everything was conveniently located on the property including a large shelter area for an outside reception, a cottage for the bride to getty ready in, and a farmhouse for food and desert.
Erica and Garrett had gotten engaged during Christmastime and therefore wanted a Christmas theme wedding. I don’t think they could’ve chosen a better location!
How beautiful is this view?!
Erica getting ready inside the charming cottage. I loved all the decor inside the cottage – especially the chandelier!
The guys trying to figure out how to fold the pocket square… it was quite hilarious because the instructions were not very helpful at all!

This is probably the largest wedding party that I’ve photographed! The bridal party was such good sport though and were willing to do all the fun shots:
It started raining really hard so we ended up doing the cereony inside of the shelter area:
One of the things I love the most about photographing weddings is capturing all the emotions on camera. This was during the first speech and toasts:

We were hoping to do some sunset photos but the sun never appeared so we snuck into tree farms and did a few shots there instead:
