fine art materials
If it's not obvious by now, I'm a bit obsessed over fine art wedding details and decor. Think: beautiful hand written calligraphy on cotton paper with deckled edges, elegant wax seals, silk ribbons, and velvety ring boxes. Over the years, I've collected several pieces and have created my own styling kit to bring with me to weddings. Below are some of my favorite pieces that I'm sharing with you in hopes that it will help as you prepare for your wedding day.
Paper goods
Nothing speaks "fine art" more than hand made cotton paper with deckled edge. The best quality that I've found so far comes from France - specifically from La Pomme Et La Pipe Press. You can purchase the paper in bulk and have a local calligrapher or graphic designer customize your invitation suite for you.
Wax seals
Seal your invitation with some personalized wax seals! These wax seals comes in a variety of color and design, including your own customized monogram. My favorite go to wax seal shop is Artisaire as they offer a great variety to chose from.
Ribbons
I absolutely love long flowing ribbons tied to bouquets and my favorite ribbons are the ones with the frayed edges. The best ribbons I've found so far on the market comes from Ling's Moment (it looks and feels like real silk but it's actually chiffon).
Ring Boxes
