Mary and Christian got married this summer and it was a BEAUTIFUL wedding day. They chose navy and coral for their wedding colors and it came together beautifully: from the groomsmen’s suit to the bridesmaids’ dress and bouquet – it was the perfect color combination for a July wedding.

Mary’s dress was a simple but stunning crepe wedding gown with the most delicate details. Her veil was beautifully lined with some beads and this was her “something blue” which she borrowed from a close friend to wear the day of her wedding.

One of the challenges of getting ready in a church is the lack the light and space (most of the times, you’re stuck in a toddler room with lots of toys!). We were able to find an entrance inside the church that we cleared out and used the natural light to shoot most of the getting ready photos. From these photos, you almost couldn’t tell what space we were in!

The grass is definitely greener in Michigan and when you have the perfect balance of light and shade, photos can turn out so beautifully.

The perfect ending to the night: a sparkler exit with a kiss!
