It’s been awhile since I’ve blogged a wedding or engagement session and this one is long overdue! 2020 has been quite a year with everything that’s happened but I’ve been fortunate enough to continue to be able to use my camera and capture beautiful moments such as Omo and Evan’s engagement session.

Omo and Evan will be getting married in 2021 and they’re having the wedding at the Raddison Plaza Hotel in Kalamazoo, Michigan (a beautiful wedding venue in the heart of the city!. We met up at a local park early in the morning for their engagement session and was able to capture some beautiful morning light (definitely my favorite time of the day for photos!).

Omo was quite stunning in her dress and it definitely gave a pop of color to the photos which I absolutely love!

After walking through the park, we headed to downtown Kalamazoo for some coffee and got some more casual engagement photos. Given that it was a Sunday morning, we had the whole entire street to ourselves!

Omo and Evan both did their university studies in the Kalamazoo area so they were quite familiar with the local shops here. If you’re ever in the Kalamazoo area, definitely check out the historic Kalamazoo Mall (the first outdoor pedestrian mall in America) where you can find locally made goodies (such as the Kalamazoo Candle – one of my favorite candle brands).
